KICK OFF RALLY
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2:00 PM
IN FRONT OF CHESHIRE HIGH SCHOOL
We would like to invite everyone to our Kick Off Rally this Saturday, November 6. It will begin at 2:00 PM in the front parking lot of Cheshire High School.
We will have representatives from each of the charities we are donating to present to accept their checks. The Cheshire Community Food Pantry, Cheshire Youth & Human Services, The Petit Family Foundation, and our second scholarship winner, Elizbeth Pettinicchi.
All volunteers who will be setting up along the Mile of Hope must be at this rally to get their instructions. From there, they will go to their specific locations to begin their set up. Please contact Edmonde Bernier, volunteer@cheshireslightsofhope.com, if you don't know your location or you would like to volunteer.
We can't thank enough all the volunteers who came to help these past 3 weeks. We had an incredible turn out that made the work load lighter and allowed us to be ready to light this town with over 50,000 luminaries.
We are still selling luminary kits at R.W. Hines Ace Hardware, Timberline, and PAWS Pet Resort & Spa.
We are also taking donations online by going to our web site and clicking on the "DONATE" button.
We look forward to seeing you this Saturday.
LOOKING FOR STREET CELEBRATIONS
We are looking for streets who are planning celebrations. Please contact our PR dept., pr@cheshireslightsofhope.com, and let them know what your street has planned. We would love to see photos as well.
