Our volunteer coordinator is beginning to put together lists of volunteers to help us with the event. We will need people to do the following tasks:
Saturday, November 15 Completed & Thank You !!!
• 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• R. W. Hine Hardware store; 231 Maple Avenue, Cheshire
• 50 - 100 volunteers needed to assemble luminary "kits" and organize orders
Saturday, November 22 Completed & Thank You !!!
• 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• R. W. Hine Hardware store; 231 Maple Avenue, Cheshire
• 50 - 100 volunteers needed to distribute bags, cups and candles to Street Captains
Friday, November 28 Completed & Thank You !!!
• 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• 1320 Waterbury Road (next to the town transfer station)
• 100 - 200 volunteers needed to fold down 7,000 bags, fill with sand, cup and candle and place in boxes for shipment to Route 10 on December 6
Saturday, December 6 Completed & Thank You !!!
• 12:00 PM for set up and 3:00 PM for lighting of luminaries on Route 10
• 150 - 250 volunteers needed
Sunday, December 7 Completed & Thank You !!!
• 9:00 AM for clean up of all bags and debris along Route 10
• 100 - 150 volunteers needed
